Time Cutting
In addition to providing track editing capabilities, Lemur allows limited time scale editing of analyses. The time spanned by a region drawn in the Lemur display can be cut from the analysis using the Time Cut option on the Edit menu. Time cutting removes the selected frames from the analysis. Peaks in frames on either side of the time cut region are connected as described in Track Formation, including the insertion of birth and death peaks for tracks that began or ended in the time cut region. Time cutting can be used to remove empty frames or undesirable temporal features (such as distortion effects or long, static sustains) from an analysis.
